Questions
EBC Recovery FAQs
When should I get a massage after completing EBC trek?
Ideally within 24-48 hours of returning to Kathmandu. Your muscles are still warm and responsive, making treatment most effective. However, massage is beneficial anytime within the first week.
I have blisters on my feet. Can I still get a foot massage?
Yes, our therapists are trained to work around blisters and sensitive areas. We focus on reflexology points and healthy tissue while avoiding damaged skin.
How do I get to SOMA from Lukla/Kathmandu airport?
We're located in Bhaktapur, about 30 minutes from Tribhuvan International Airport. You can take a taxi directly after landing from Lukla, or we can arrange pickup for an additional fee.
Can I book same-day after arriving from Lukla?
Many EBC trekkers book their massage for the same day they fly back to Kathmandu. Call us at +977 9767939710 or WhatsApp to check availability.
What should I do before my post-EBC massage?
Stay hydrated, eat a light meal, and take a warm shower if possible. Let your therapist know about any injuries, particularly sore spots, or areas of concern from your trek.
